Celebrating 16 Years of Parents Involved in Education

This year's event, which celebrated PIE's 16th anniversary, was a true reflection of community, culture, and sustainability. Under the theme "Honoring Mother Earth with Love and Respect," the Spring Fiesta brought together parents, caregivers, and children for an evening filled with enriching activities.

From live music by the Timberline PK-8 Mariachi to vibrant dances by the Grupo Folklórico México Lindo, every moment was joyful. Attendees also enjoyed various activities, including a Resource and Nature Fair, which connected families with community services and resources. There was also entertainment for the children, with fun games and face painting by El Show de Saltarín, and adorable farm animals from Ellie's Little Farm.

With keynote speakers Juanita Echeverri and Leidy Pineda Flores, who shared their passion for environmental education, the event served as a platform to celebrate and strengthen ties within Longmont's Latino community.

The evening was also filled with raffles, prizes, and recognition for the sponsors and community partners who made the event possible, highlighting the continued support of organizations like Thorne Nature Experience and the City of Longmont.
